I like light bright! I can remember many a rainy/snowy days sitting downstairs in the basement trying to make creations by punching bulbs into black paper. The end result was always a bit of a let down, as it didn't turn out as I had envisioned. But Max's birthday cake is beeeea-utiful! He looks very proud and happy.

What a delightful surprise to see photos of me and my grandchildren together, accompanying entries in your blog. I am greatly honored. I had such a great time visiting with all of you! The early morning one-on-one time with you and Max was very special --- doing puzzles, making Lite-Brite pictures, reading books, and talking. I loved reading books with Zoe under the blanket on the couch. Being there for Grandparent's Day, seeing Jack in his class play, and winning the Laurelhurst lunchbox for "coming the farthest" made my visit most memorable. Thanks for sharing the photos and thoughts.
